Mr. Islam is an Advocate of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. He obtained his LL.B (Hons.) degree from the University of London, United Kingdom in Criminal Law, Tort Law, European Union Law, Contract Law, Public Law, Property Law, Administrative Law, Jurisprudence, and Legal Theory, Equity and Trusts, Company Law, and Islamic Law. Thereafter, he obtained an LLM degree from Britannia University, Bangladesh in Law of Banking and Securities, Government and Politics, General Clauses Act and Interpretation of Statues, Media, and Information Technology Law, Criminology, International Trade, International Human Rights Law, Private International Law, Intellectual Property Law, Environmental Law, Law of Good Governance, Principles of Civil Litigation, Comparative Law, Law of the Sea, Law of International Organization, Comparative Constitutional Law, International Humanitarian, Migration and Refugee Law, Air and Space Law, Natural Resources Law, and Legal Research Methodology and Effective Writing. He also completed a BBS (Hons) degree and an MBS (Master’s) degree in management.
Before joining the firm, he was closely involved in several commercial and manufacturing projects.
